Atletico agree £50m for Chelsea wantaway star Costa

Premier League holders Chelsea have agreed a £50million fee with Atletico Madrid for Diego Costa, according to reports in Spain.
The Spanish forward who was the Blues highest goal scorer
last
term is on strike in his homeland as he tries to force a move to the Spanish capital.
According to Spanish radio station, Onda Cero says that Atleti will pay £41m up front for Costa with another £9m in potential add-ons.

were
trying to secure a cut-price £30m deal but have caved to the Blues’ demands as they seek to add firepower. However, it’s also been claimed that Atletico Madrid will not pay the transfer fee until Costa and Chelsea have resolved their differences.
Atleti will be unable to register Costa until January after they were hit by a transfer embargo ends.
Costa has been training in Brazil after refusing to report to Chelsea following Antonio Conte telling him he was not needed via text. The Blues are threatening to fine Costa for failing to show up in London at the start of the season.
