The people of Ochuche Umuodu community, where the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Mr Oseloka Obaze, hails from has said that it would give Governor Willie Obiano a lion share of the votes from the area.
Addressing the leaders and youths of the community, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Mr Arinzechukwu Awogu, commended the people of Ochuche Umuodu for identifying with Obiano as against any other candidate for the November election.
He assured them that dividends of democracy which the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) government had at hand would be evenly distributed to all villages in Ogbaru including Ochuche Umuodu.
Awogu reminded them that in just three years and half, Obiano had remembered Ogbaru people more than any previous a administration did in its first four years and affirmed that the governor is an Ogbaru man by heart.
He noted that Obiano’s administration was mindful of the condition of roads in Ogbaru local government area and was doing its best to tackle the problems headlong.
Some of the elders who on behalf of the community members expressed their readiness for the re-election of Governor Obiano included Mr. Ojini Nnamdi who represented the Oduuas , Mr. Opia- Izuchukwu who represented the Okparas and Odua Godwin.
The youth leader in the community, Mr. Egbuna Chukwuemeka promised that the youths would vote for Governor Obiano considering his achievements in the state, with Mr. Asha Boniface saying that the community had resolved to support Governor Obiano.
