Arsene Wenger breaks incredible Premier League record

Arsene Wenger has taken over from Sir Alex Ferguson as the longest serving manager in the history of the Premier League. His 7583 days in charge are enough to take the record from the former Manchester United boss.Wenger joined the club in 1996 from Japanese club Grampus Eight. He recently signed a two year extension to his deal that will keep him at the club until at least 2019.The deal came despite many protests over his management of the club last season. In his time at Arsenal he has won three Premier League titles – one of which was the incredible invincibles season that saw the Frenchman lead the team to an unbeaten season. He also has a record seven FA Cup wins in that time including May’s triumph over Chelsea. With a couple more years to run on his managerial career, he could well put the record …Report a problem.
