Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has stated that the voice message purportedly from President Muhammadu Buhari is fake.
The Presidency had released a voice message from President Muhammadu Buhari’s to Nigerians to downplay media reports that he is suffering from speech impairment.

In reaction, the former minister wrote on Facebook, “It was NOT President Buhari that spoke in todays sallah day audio recording. And for whoever it was to address the nation in hausa is deeply insulting. Hausa is not the lingua franca of Nigeria.”
