Our attention has been drawn to the activities of some dubious individuals who delight in impersonating prominent citizens and tarnishing their images through the social media.
These impostors create several facebook accounts and pages with the name and pictures of Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah and have been using the fake accounts to demand money from the innocent and unsuspecting public as well as deceiving them with false claims and promises.
While efforts are in top gear to trace, nab and handover these criminals to the relevant law enforcement agencies, the general public should note that Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has only one facebook page which can be reached directly through https://www.facebook.com/ifeanyiubahgovernor/ and one Facebook account that has https://www.facebook.com/patrick.ubah.37 as its profile link.
Any other Facebook account or page other than the aforestated does not belong to Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah. Hence, anyone dealing with these impostors through those fake Facebook profiles and pages is doing so at his or her own risk and are advised to desist.
To curtail the activities of these unscrupulous elements, we humbly implore you to report these fake accounts and pages to Facebook which would aid and facilitate the shutting down of these dubious facebook account and pages, bringing the activities of these criminals to nought.
