Paris Saint-Germain’s new signing Dani Alves has revealed why he was so keen to cut ties with Juventus. The Brazilian defence ace spent one season with the Serie A giants after helping them to reach the last season’s Champions League final and winning the Scudetto.Strict dressing room rules was just one of the reasons Dani Alves left Juventus for French giants Paris Saint-Germain, reports the Daily Mirror. The former Barcelona right-back had been linked with a potential move to Manchester City, after negotiating an early release from his contract in Turin.Instead he joined PSG on a two-year deal, prompting the Citizens to step up their pursuit of Kyle Walker, who they signed on Friday.Speaking as a PSG player, Alves opened up about his time at Juventus and revealed why he left the Serie A giants.“At first I had a lot of trouble because they didn’t understand me, on or off the pitch,” the right back told L’Equipe.“It took some time to make the connection between what I thought and what they thought, and once we found that connection the results came.Alves went on to admit he was frustrated at the club, claiming that he was against the strict dressing room rules.“Frustration? Here’s an example. In the dressing room, we weren’t allowed to put music on. I can’t live without music, without dancing,” said Alves.“I’m not a crazy person who wants to change all the rules, and everyone has his own way or raising his energy and transmitting it to others.“I was viewed with a bit of suspicion though. Little by little, it improved and we had a good second half of the season.”
