Nigeria vs Cameroon: Super Eagles get almost N100million

The Super Eagles are to receive almost 100 million naira following their 4-0 bashing of Cameroon.
The news keeps getting better for the Super Eagles following their 4-0 demolition of Cameroon as they have become 78 million naira richer.
The team were promised 20 million Naira from the federal government and sponsors Aiteo donated another 40 million Naira, added to the $40,000 (N18m) they are due from the Akwa Ibom State Government for the four goals scored.
A top team official told SCORENigeria: “The Federal Government through the sports minister promised the team five million Naira for each goal the team scored, which will now come to 20 million Naira.
“This was at half time inside the dressing room.
“And team sponsors Aiteo promised 10 million Naira per goal, meaning another 40 million Naira.”
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel had before the game, promised $10,000 for each goal the team scored against Cameroon.
He is now expected to redeem his promise of $40,000 based on the 4-0 win achieved by the Eagles today.
