It is understood that Amapakabo was arrested for allegedly being in possession of a car belonging to Enugu Rangers and other properties several months after he was sacked by the NPFL club.

Speaking with ScoreNigeria, the CEO of Rangers, Christian Chukwu confirmed the arrest of Amapakabo but also offered an explanation on why the Flying Antelopes chose the part of arresting their title-winning former coach.”It is three months now since Imama left Rangers after he was relieved of his managerial role,” Chukwu began.“He left with the club’s official car and the keys to his official accommodation.“We have written to him three times to return the vehicle and house keys, but he has refused to comply.“Right now our chief coach does not have an official car.“The owner of the house has been asking us to come and remove our things and surrender the keys.“But we cannot do that in the absence of Imama who owns the items in the house” the Rangers CEO stated.Reports suggest that Amapakabo is being owed a ‘humungous’ sum of money with his contract termination but while Chukwu failed to clear the air on that he said the former coach still remains faulty for going with club properties after his sack.
