Bells Varsity Chancellor Advocates Comprehensive Education Financing
President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, tasked universities to, as a matter of urgency, carry out research to identify what has led to the lingering demands for secession, which is threatening the country’s unity.

While saying there are many countries that have remained united and indivisible, Buhari noted that many countries making waves today, does so because of their serious investment in research, as he disclosed that the Federal Government through TETFund made available more than N3b for scholarly researches.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Enefiok Essien, said in spite of daunting challenges facing the institution, such as funding, security, inadequate staff and truncating of staff salaries, the institution aims at ranking among the best in the country and the world at large.

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State, Alhaji Ahmed Joda, has canvassed the need for total and comprehensive financing of the education for the sector to regain its lost glory.
