FC Ifeanyi Ubah Supporters Club distributes free kerosene to 1,000 women in Anambra
ODOGWU EMEKA ODOGWU, reports that over One thousand (1,000) women and Children resident in Nnewi North and South local government area of Anambra state weekend received 5 litres of kerosene each free of charge from FC Ifeanyi Ubah Supporters Club of Awka North and South local government area.
Presenting five litres of Kerosene each to the women and children, the Chairman, FC Ifeanyi Ubah Supporters Club, Awka North and South council areas, Mr. Emeka Okwa said the gesture was to show love to the women in Nnewi South and North.
Okwa said they are determined to continue to put smiles on the faces of Anambra people in line with what the Founder of the FC Ifeanyi Ubah football club, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah stood for especially as he celebrates his birthday.
He said they have 17 other local government areas to show love to having been to Awka North and South and Nnewi North and South.
The beneficiaries were thankful to the FC Ifeanyi Ubah supporters club led by Emeka Okwa for remembering them and prayed that God would continue to favour them to remember others less privileged in the society.
They prayed God to continue to keep and bless Dr Ifeanyi Ubah whose supporters are remembering some others in the society.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to the media include Patience Eyohasi from Ukpor, Uche Ibe from Nnewichi, Nwodo Caroline from Akpakume , Enugu state, Nwakaego Eziuche from Enugu.
Others were Amu Blessing Enugu state, Okoro Blessing from Nnewichi and Gift George from Cross River state as well as Martins Ofem who collected for his fuel attendant wife.
They prayed for Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, family and the members of the supporters club, asking for life and health upon them.
Okwa recalled that the FC Ifeanyi Ubah Supporters Club from Awka North and South Local Government Areas had penultimate month splashed gift items worth thousands of naira to widows in Awka North and South to ameliorate their plights.
Some items distributed then to the widows include: electric kettles, electric stoves, vegetable oil, electric jugs, cartons of noodles, bags of rice and assorted packs of tissue papers.
