Police reportedly raided Deputy Senate President Ekweremadu’s Maitama residence on Friday
1push.ngSaturday, May 27, 2017 04:59The Maitama guest house of Senator Ike Ekweremadu, the Deputy Senate President, was reportedly raided by the police on Friday.According to Mr. Uche Anichukwu, the Special Adviser Ekweremadu, the Deputy President of the Senate was not informed neither were his senior aides aware of the search.He noted that only the steward was present when the policemen allegedly from the Police Force Headquarters arrive the residence and conducted their search and found nothing.Senator Ekweremadu had few weeks ago alleged that there was plans by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to raid him home either in Abuja or Enugu.​
