Ikpeazu will be last PDP gov in Abia – APC chair

The APC in Abia State has boasted that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will be the last governor of PDP in the state.

The APC said it had concluded plans to take over the state in 2019. 

Its chairman, Donatus Nwankpa, made this known in an interview with Daily Trust, in Awka, yesterday. He said other states across the country were embracing change, and therefore Abia could not be an exception.

Nwankpa alleged that as presently constituted, “the Abia State Government cannot bring anything new to the people.”

According to him, “there’s no difference between the present and immediate past administration in the state. If I say Ikpeazu and PDP cannot return to Abia government house come 2019, I don’t think I spoke from any point of ambiguity,” he said.
