Obiano Storms campaign office, ensure smooth execution of projects

The alert Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has said that the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA)has more than 1.3 million registered members and supporters from other political parties in Anambra state.

He noted that with that strong population and controlling numerical strength in the state ,APGA would win landslide in the forthcoming governorship election in the state. 
The governor ascertained this when he inspected his reelection campaign office complex in Awka, today.
The Governor, on arrival at the complex, was received by APGA Legislators at the National and State Assemblies, members of the National Working Committee, party stakeholders and faithful with solidarity songs was later conducted round the facility by the Chairman of his Reelection Campaign Committee, Chief Victor Umeh. 
Addressing the mammoth crowd after the inspection, Gov Obiano said that APGA as the party in power in the state in the last 11 years has done very well for Ndi Anambra and his administration has not lowered the bar of good governance. 
According to him, his second term development plan entails a comprehensive blueprint that will impact positively on every segment of the society, especially women, youths and children and will help consolidate on the achievements so far.
He said he was impressed by what he saw at the campaign office, and expressed high optimism that the facilities put in place would enable the party monitor the upcoming guber election to ensure that no malpractice takes place. 
He further said he has the assurances of the security agencies that the exercise will be peaceful, urging APGA faithful not to rest on their oars until victory is achieved. 
In his remarks, Chief Umeh noted that since the office was opened, a lot of support groups have come to register their solidarity with the movement notable of whom were the workers, the pensioners, persons living with disabilities among many others whom the governor has touched their lives positively. 

While noting that they have developed a robust strategy to ensure that the people’s votes count in the November 18th governorship election, he called on other political parties to imbibe the spirit of fair play and undertake the campaign in a manner that will not disrupt the peace and stability in the state.
