Gov Willie Obiano has said that Anambra State will experience unprecedented infrastructural and human capital development as well as economic boom through diversification of the state economy.
The Governor made this known during the Holy Mass, at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha.
Gov Obiano who spoke of his administration’s numerous partnerships with private investors and development partners aimed at revolutionizing the State agricultural and trades sectors, said that when they fully come on stream, they would create wealth and job opportunities for youths in the state.
He enjoined Ndi Anambra to utilize the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR)exercise to register and get their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) to ensure that they sustain good governance in the state; urging them not to be apolitical.
The governor described the Laity Week as an important week for the Catholic Church at it helps the Laity to examine its role in the church, with a view to better the cause of evangelism.
In a homily, the Chancellor, Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha, Very Rev Father Prudentus Emeka Urged Christians to flee from sin to enable them maintain spiritual relationship with God that will elevate their status in life.
