Anambra APC primaries: Police arrest 0ver 20 delegates
Security operatives have arrested 19 persons believed to be fake delegates in Anambra as the All Progressives Congress, APC, party holds its primaries ahead of the upcoming governorship race slated for November.
They were arrested in the course of the accreditation for the exercise.
Tight security were sighted at the venue of the primaries as over 5,000 delegates registered their presence.
Eleven candidates are contesting the ticket.
These include, Senator Andy Ubah, House of Reps member, Tony Nwoye, National Auditor of the APC, Mr. George Muoghalu, APC House of Reps candidate in the 2015 general election, Bart Nwibe, former PDP governorship candidate in 2014, Mr. Obinna Uzor among six others.
