Peace Mass Transport Gives Ultimatum To Police Over Manager’s Detention.

Chairman/chief executive officer and managing director  of the corporation,  Dr. Sam Maduka, gave the ultimatum while raising the alarm on the detention and described it  as illegal and unlawful, stressing that the detention was barbaric.

But in a swift reaction to the allegation, the Cross River State commissioner of Police, Mr. Hafiz Inuwa, said he is not aware of the arrest and detention of Mr Amodu.

Briefing journalists in Calabar yesterday on the issue in a telephone interview, the company’s chief executive stated that the only option put on the table before management of the company was to drag the police to court to enable the company seek redress.

The chairman who spoke through his personal Assistant, Mr. Nwobodo Ekwere alleged that incarceration of one of its manager had exposed the firm to incur losses in man hour that if converted into naira and kobo would amount to millions of naira.

He said that parties involved in the issue had pushed Management of Peace Mass transport firm to the world adding that already the company management has no other option than to seek redress in the court of law.
