The Chief Promoter of AfaIgboEfuna and the 2019 Anambra South Senatorial Hopeful under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, this afternoon picked his interest and nomination form at the National headquarters of the party in Abuja to contest and represent the good people of Anambra South in the Upper Chamber.
The President, Africa Football Revolution Initiative Project, Dr. Ubah was accompanied by his campaign team, campaign support group, Party Chairmen; Party Secretaries, Party Youth leaders and women leaders from Anambra South Senatorial District, Nnewi North APGA Ward Executives, Youth leaders from the 4 quarters of Nnewi Anaedo, Transition Committee Chairman of Ekwusigo Local Government Area; Hon. Engr. Ikenna Oforgeme and Onyeka Owelle Mbaso, aspirants for the Nnewi North/South and Ekwusigo Federal House of Representative, Government Appointees and supporters.
Breifing newsmen after picking his form, the Oil Magnate reiterates that his aim of going to the Senate is for emancipation of Igbo economy.
He further said that issues of 41 items unjustly banned by the FG would be raised on the floor of the Senate.
He also maintained that the Maritime issues affecting the commercial activities of the Igbo would be checkmated.
Dr. Ubah strongly stated that enormous natural resources that has remained untapped in his senatorial district shall be effectively and efficiently be put to use. Erosion control measures in the zone and education will also be attended to.
